Killingholme Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) Hi guys, aircaft modeller here looking for some figures for his first diorama (See Blitzkreig groupbuild) Looking for either Polish or German figures in 1/72 that are posed just standing around. All the figures I can find are depicted in the 'heat of battle', which isn't appropriate for the diorama I have in mind (a Polish Czapla army liaison aircraft). I know this is probably a long shot, but any pointers would be cool. Will Edited November 15, 2010 by Killingholme
Obi-Jiff Kenobi Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 There's a site called Plastic Soldier Review that specialises in 1/72 plastic figures, of all eras. They review as many sets as they can get their hands on, with photos of all the poses in each set. Click on this link Plastic Soldier Review and have a look. Be warned though, PSR don't give much clue to the availability of the sets, and some are long out of production. Obi-Jiff

Will Of course, at that size you don't necessarily have to paint all the details, just enough to give an impression of detail at a normal viewing distance. Often it's best to underdo the painting, you can always add more if you don't like it, rather than having to paint it out if you go too far. Obi-Jiff
