ssculptor
I need help (My wife has been saying that I am beyond help but that's just her opinion). I intend to make a 1/32 scale Heyford. I have plans for flying models of the beastie, but they are always simplified as flying is their main consideration. I need the details on the ribs and longerons for the fuselage, wings and tail. I want to make this model as close as possible to the real one. I have the matchbox 1/72 kit of it but I really do not want to slice it up like a salami to get the contours of the fuselage and airfoil. I wonder how accurate the 1/72 scale model is in the first place. Can any of you direct me to a good source of decent plans and info? Thanks, Ssculptor
Edgar
Try Aviation News; they have the plans from the original (Alan Hall) Aviation News, and the Heyford's reference is PN02/08. http://www.aviation-news.co.uk/aircraftpla...NITED%20KINGDOM Edgar

Edgar
http://www.myhobbystore.com/c/279/Line-Dra...omodelling.html These people seem to have taken over the old A.P.S. drawings, from Nexus (and sundry other outlets too numerous to name,) but the Heyford drawings don't appear on the listing (2677 was the plan no.)
