Dmitry Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 (edited) Hi Friends! Hasegawa 1/48 Kit Painted Gunze 424421 Corba of the most famous Soviet ace Alexander Pokryshkin, before the transfer of the aircraft to the Soviet VVS The aircraft served in the 16-th GIAP in the spring-summer of 1943, carried the number "13", later "130" The universal kit led to the modification of the K-1. On the Kuban Cobras the nose wheel was still of the old type And on Soviet Сobras there were no radio boxes behind the pilot's head Enjoy watching! Edited April 17, 2023 by Dmitry 16
georgeusa Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 Very nicely built and finished Airacobra. I like the subdued weathering. Thanks for sharing. 1
TheyJammedKenny! Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 Одличная работа! That looks really great. Did the Soviet pilots fly without radios, or did they relocate them to a different part of the aircraft? По чему они изменили места радиостанции? 1

They respected American radio equipment. The radio remained near the tail, from the factory. There was "friend or foe" equipment behind the pilot's head, it was not on Russian Сobras 1
