Homebee
Next Prop&Jet (http://propjet.ucoz.ru/) 1/72nd resin kit should be the Chance Vought XF6U-1 Pirate first prototype.Source: https://www.facebook.com/475396205882045/photos/pcb.806040636150932/806040562817606/?type=1&theaterV.P. Tailspin Turtle
The first XF6U was much shorter than the production F6Us; the Admiral kits were really not different in configuration, only in markings and perhaps options. For some notes on the F6U Admiral kits, see http://tailhooktopics.blogspot.com/2012/03/f6u-variations.html

Killingholme
Hasn't AZmodel already done several kits of this airplane in injection-molded plastic? Having built 2 and stashed 3 more Prop&jet resin kits- which I honestly believe are the best resin kits I've ever handled- I'll be buying as a matter of course. (no connection btw) Will Edited April 1, 2015 by Killingholme
Navy Bird
This looks great. I have the AZ (Admiral) kits in my stash, and since they can only be built as production Pirates with the stretched fuselage there is no way to model the first prototype as shown here. Glad to hear about the quality of this manufacturer - any idea of the price for the F6U kit? Cheers, Bill
