redcap
Excellent pictures Vitaly - thank you! I have a question to ask about modern Russian armour on parade please. I want to model a 1/35 T-90A (Meng kit) in parade colours with the new resin 1/35 'Valkyrie' '' Victory Day in Moscow" figures and was wondering if the T-90 is ever seen in these parades with the 'steel' tracks fitted? I ask as given they are running on public roads and to prevent damage, the crews may be ordered to refit them with rubber block tracks? Any help or advice on this matter is appreciated so I can get it right. Thank you. Gary

Massimo Tessitori
Hi, marvellous set of photos, I love these vehicles. Thank you for having posted them. I often tried to understand what colors can be considered 'standard' on Russian and Soviet vehicles. I think to have identified at least three common shades of green: the darkest one that looks to be a new standard (as on T-90s), the olive green that seems standard some years ago, and a lighter and more yellowish foliage green (something as 4BO). Anyway I don't understand when the different shades are utilized, and what the factory color should be. Could anyone help to make some order in my too fragmentary knowledge, please? magman2
Hi Massimo, I would suggest you find a photo you like and go with the colours in the Photo. Due to sunlight, fading, dirt and dust the colours look a tad different from time to time. All Russian vehicles are now officially Green, but still camouflage can be seen. Parade vehicles always spotlessly clean. As for exact shades I do not have that Information.
Massimo Tessitori
Thank you Magman. I know that Akan produces some cans of colors for Soviet and Russian vehicles, but doesn't provide full informations on their typical use.
