mbdesignart
Hi, I have been playing around with images digitally, that's with a computer not sticky fingers, to see what happens. Here are a couple of examples using different techniques to produce what could be considered the 'typical' style of painting and a more 'graphic' style. What do you think? Cheers, Mark B. NeilF92
Just a red cross for the first one - but from the Hawks -"Merry Men" one it looks as though you have got the hang of creating digital art with the same visual appeal as conventional art work . I suspect that the aircrew might have to answer a few awkward questions if anyone happened to question the height they coasted in at

mbdesignart
Thanks for the replies. Is the treatment of the Nimrod not preferred because it is different to the 'norm' for Aviation Art? Good job it wasn't done out of a pile of house bricks !! Yes the Hawks may be a tad low. You should have seen the expression on the face of the Candyfloss seller Note use of artist's licence. mbdesignart
Apologies for the 'Red Cross' misunderstanding. I have posted the photo link again which appears when I view the post, so hopefully it will appear for everyone too this time. Must be the F in Flickr! TonyGol
I really like the Nimrod picture. What software did you use? Tony..
mbdesignart
Hi Tony, It's a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator CS2. I have recently done a steam loco for a friend, so it's encouraging to find the style can work with different subjects. Thanks, Mark B.
NeilF92
Now't wrong with the Nimrod. A good artistic looking render .
