Here is a search on IWM for VAD. Lots of images of drivers and they can be enlarged to get a good view of the badge. IIRC the term Snatch Land Rover is from the early days '69/70's. Standard Land Rovers with tilt, doors etc. removed used for patrols and snatching suspects off the streets.
