  1. Oh wow!! Looks great. Lots for me to take away from this one for mine if I ever put it in the KUTA GB
  2. That’s kind of you. Thank you. I’ve the panniers to tackle and not sure how the ‘rubber’ will act. Could get interesting 🧐
  3. Thank Max - Appreciated. I've managed to get some done between visits and I'm hoping it will be complete in time!
  4. Thanks Rob - Appreciated. This build does indeed have the "rubbery sprue". I'm not a fan; the outcome will be a case of que sera !
  5. Yep, All good. Progressing nicely. Just not had as much time as I’d like as my Dad’s unwell and I’ve spent a lot of time back and forth to help out. I’ll try to get an update posted on the weekend. This was meant to be a bit of light therapy after knuckling down to complete my Titanic. However, it might end up sending me to therapy!! 🤣 Not the best kit in the world
  6. Thank you She'll hopefully be safe on the mantlepiece! 🤞
  7. It’s looking superb!! New ceiling lightshade?
  8. Hi, Just looking at spreading builds across next year and wondered, although the box says 1917, would the Revell Model T Ambulance qualify for this GB as they ran past that year https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-03285-model-t-1917-ambulance--1254884 If not, I'll go with this one. San Francisco trams definitely ran during this time https://www.scalemates.com/kits/testors-no517-san-francisco-cable-car--995838 Or maybe both if the Model T is OK!!
  9. Every day is a school day! Thanks for putting me straight. Six97s, my apologies
  10. Thanks Max Yep, I've also made the wheels and they are as big as a couple of 1:12 bikes I have. I'll pop a comparison picture in the thread once built
  11. In amongst all the Bunfight shenanigans, I've complete steps 1 - 7, but may now go off piste for the remainder of the build!!: This was more fiddly than I expected. The parts fit isn't brilliant so a small amount of cutting and wrestling was required.
  12. Hmmmmm, wouldn't an unofficial GB undermine the whole build-up and bunfight that leads to the official GBs? Not even sure if the 'Admins' would allow it. I must be honest and say I personally will be joining a few of the successful GBs in the spirit of BM
  13. Someone mentioned Honda for the Asia GB; that opens up loads for starters. Plus as already mentioned, the ‘early’ years builds 🥳
  14. Have the switch for the 9v battery now so here she is lit up. Not great photos (softer in real life; and not blue!) but you get the idea
  15. Thanks Enzo. And very much appreciated it is too. I don’t have the pleasure of asking you for a date, but I’ll look forward to seeing the completed calendar and picking those that fit without too much overlap. Well done to the winners; I’ll be asking to join a few, I’m sure!! Cheers 🍻
  16. Thanks Gerard, might see you in one on the other GBs. Cheers. Nigel
  17. Thanks for all the hard work, Rich (and the laughs!! 😉 )
  18. So close!! A big THANK YOU to everyone involved. Getting through to the bunfight with such a short run up was good enough, never mind being near the line. Another time maybe. Cheers. Nigel
