xvtonker Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) Further to the earlier topic of aircraft zapping here are a couple of pictures taken by me in 1976 whilst serving on 31Sqn at RAF Brüggen. They depict Phantom FGR.2 XV422 (of infamous shooting down a 14Sqn Jaguar fame). The pictures show the zap applied to both sides of the fuselage when the A/C was on detachment to JaboG 32 at Lechfeld I believe. XVTonker Edited February 5, 2010 by xvtonker
Starfighter Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Aahh . . .What memories! I was an armourer on 17 Sqdn. from 1971-74. As a note of interest 31 Sqdn. hosted some F-104Gs from JaboG 32 in 1973 , and I managed to get some good close-ups of their aircraft. Happy days indeed.
