Browning .303 Calibre with Flash Hiders

The M1919 Browning was a .30 calibre machine gun that was employed by US and Allied forces during World War II and which remains in service with some countries today. It was adapted by the British to fire the.303 round and was widely used by the RAF when fitted to aircraft such as the Mosquito, Lancaster and Wellington.

Polish outfit Master are continuing their prolific release schedule with this handy set of four barrels. The quality is absolutely superb and they will make a real difference to the appearance of a finished model.

Conclusion

This is a great little set of barrels. The .303 Browning widely used, so these items should find a good home in any one of a dozen different projects. Highly recommended.

I haven't built a Lancaster for about 30 years but I like the new G for George decals. So I plan to build one from the BoB 50th Anniv set.

These guns would seem to be idea but please forgive my stupid question...

As these are single guns how does one mount them. I "think" the original plastic ones were moulded and for the rear just needed either the L/H set to be glued to the R/H set or top to bottom.

I'd like to get a couple of these but not without knowing how to mount them.

You need to cut away the appropriate part of the plastic gun barrel and drill a 0.5mm hole in the remaining part. These barrels then slot in and can be fixed with superglue. Here's an example using their 1:700 set for Trumpeter's Littorio battleship:

I to can recommend them as I am useing some 50 cal on my Airfix Swordfish 1/72nd.
