135modeler
Ended up with too much of an aquamarine sky...
AnonymousFO98
Not sure that is a problem On my moniter the colours are working pretty well together. The tonal similarity of The top of the aircraft and the sky are maybe too close, or maybe the top could be a little more of a green blue or was it as intended? anyhoo looks good! keefr22
anyhoo looks good! I'll second that! I'd also agree that to me a little more tonal separation between the top of the fuselage & the sky would make it even better than it already is... Nice painting!! NeilF92
Interesting use of the graded colour bands - certainly catches the scale and character of the aircraft well. Edited April 11, 2011 by NeilF92
135modeler
Thanks, all - the difference between the top of the fuselage and the sky is indeed not distinct enough-looked right in the process somehow, but not as finished. I was trying to aim for something other than a great gray glob of an airplane (pun uninentional but apt - GLOB = "Ground Loving Old ****** aka KC-135A) but maybe strayed too far into the green tones. Suppose I could darken it up in PS and say it's in the Baby Shamu scheme ;-)
