wkennerley
Right as the two builds I have already started are dragging a bit due to need to scratchbuild bits, I have decided to try an OOB build of Revell's Kamov Ka-58. Box and sprue parts shown below By the way is this a real helicopter or a prototype or what - I can;t seem to find much on the web about it Wayne Edited February 16, 2010 by wkennerley

Stebos
As far as I know it doesn't exist in reality, but I suspect it came from a legit design that was once considered. I don't think it's just entirely made up as Italeri's Ferret E kit was.
wkennerley
Progress to date, cockpit done and fuselage glued, rotor assembly done, needs a bit of filing.
wkennerley
Right. most of the helo is together, problem now is that I have lost / misplaced / thrown away (heaven forbit) the damn decals - I am building in the house now days to be near the youngster so they have probably gotten mixed in with my research paperwork which is all over the lounge. Hopefully I will find them soon, otherwise this is as far as things will get!!! Cheers Wayne
wkennerley
So having misplaced the deals for the Kamov, I dug out some Austrian ones from the spares and put them on. Can't figure where the original decals went. Now to see if I can get any progress and maybe finish one of the other two helicopters I started on this GB. Stebos
I'll second that, a suitably sleek result.
