Maybe you have one or two tops in stock? Cheers Andy Sometimes yes, mainly to get the basic shapes and proportions right. Then it is a matter of correcting for different variants or configurations. Most photo's do not show the panel lines clearly so you have to draw them from reference books and images. Same thing for parts that are obscured by pylons and landing gear that you do not want on your drawing. In this case I also used a Blender 3D model I made for the missile and pylon.
