[Gunpla] 1/100 MBF-P01-Re3 (HANA) Gundam Astray GF Amatsu Hana

I haven't assemble 1/100 gunpla for 10 years (last time was MG Tallgeese). Mainly because i dislike assembling interior frame in MG, and they are too big for me. This MBF-P01-Re3 (HANA) is a clone of Bandai Metal Build, so don't chat the brand here. Actually HANA has RG ver, but bandai already began bad strategy, sell it at PB (hence i passed). Also, the proportion and details of RG not as good as MB ver... i get this box of Astray GF Amatsu Hana from a friend, since he already enjoyed the SF clone in same series, and the touchup in HANA is a little difficult for him. After pick up this huge box, i washed all the pre-sprayed parts first, therefore some parts surface became rough. Color scheme are full metallic, but can't see pearl silver from mobile camera. Overall QC is similar to goodsmile level (i.e. poor.) Also, 1/100 is too heavy for those joints. And i broke one joint for big wing... 😭

i feel products design from bandai figure division is much better than its model kit division. The gimmick, decals, details, proportion of figure ver gunpla always better than same MS in model ver. 😮‍💨

If bandai publish Metal build in model kit could earn fast money again from same molding. But seems two departments is separated, no big picture within company...☹️

That looks great Yg!  I still think the black is better though, the white is too... over powering the gold I think.  Love the pose of the sword in front of the suit and resting it's hands on it.  Reminds me of the Tallgeese II before the end battle.  Pretty cool that Yg!

 

Poor Blitz/Nicol though!  I've got the black HG version that I need to build at some point thinking about it (yes along with the Deep Arms).

i remember black one (metal build) has new ver, included two lancers.

 

opposite to you, i feel black - gold is too contrast. 

hold sword with hand is knight typical pose, always see in Five star stories.
