Still recovering but getting back into this scene is a tonic. This is part of the Falklands Diormama. 16 models so far another perhaps 4 to go. The cockpit seat, really need a good dose of rework but as you have a crew in place, no need to worry. If you go to either of our builds, you'll find lots of pointes as to 'guilding the lily'. Blew up to size of an 1/48 Wessex HAS 3. Skin could not contain. Skin, size of two hand has to regrow. 6 months so far 25% to go. Left out some parts 🤣 Sad tale while in hospital had flu & pneumonia. Plus wife in hospital next floor up with the same problems. Had the Eduard PE seats. But did not fit into cockpit. Having spent 50 years as an architect I do like to use my imagination. So stop short of looking at others work while I am building mine. Otherwise I fear I will stop using my imagination. I use the many pictures as possible of the real thing. Enjoy your build, if you have a look at my Grog in the desert build, you can get an idea of how much detail in missing from the basic kit. I'm biased, I used to work on the Wessex 5. Colin apologies missed it Colin No unless it blows up larger than a cricket ball, skin can not hold the pressure (imagination needed ) hematoma formed, operation length of two hands to stitch up. Then skin dies size of 1.5 hands, since Christmas 75% of skin regrown. Good bit "pretty nurses" come twice a week to replace the dressing. 🤗 Phew forgot to include the photos. Wound not nurse.
