This is the back story The results are here, ready for inspection..... The pair of F1s, Nose to Nose, airfix to the left, Hobbycraft o the right The Airfix kit is based on the F3, and looks about right. The Hobbycraft kit is wrong, in so many places. This photo of the undersides shows the full horror of the undercarriage and the jet pipe, in relation to the trailing edge of the wing, on the Hobbycraft kit. And now from the three quater perspective. And now the Airfix F3, straight from the box..... Underneath And finally, from the front three quarter.
