Salmson Moineau S.M.1 Copper State 1/48

Recommended Posts

Greetings to all.
I will build a model of the company, at the request of my friends Copper State. I started it a long time, but life circumstances have not allowed to finish building, I will try to correct.

I'll start with an overview of the model kit.

I had never heard of this aircraft until now but I am certainly looking forward to seeing how you progress.

Stuck the left side to the floor and primed with Mr resin (primer surface). Primer is not very much, in some places is not very primer is firmly on the resin. Can anyone tell me what is better primed resin?

I have this kit in my stash, so will be following your progress with great interest.

Re your primer adhesion problems: it is possible there may still be some mold release on the resin? Perhaps a good washing in a detergent cleaner or even a solvent will help the primer stick better.

Good luck and have fun with it!

Mark, Billy thanks guys.

As one well-known comedian Arkady Raikin: I drink (alcohol), smoking and talking at the same time began. :pipe:

Alcohol will return later, is now about smoking, I was given a Havana cigar in a metal container, she was wrapped in a very thin wood veneer. CSM provides a very austere interior of the cockpits, I decided to use for this purpose cigar veneer.

First a little trouble. Etched parts in the set are made of rigid and thick metal. Seat pilot I did not like, took a seat from a set of Part.
