phildagreek Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I thought I would show a couple of last year's builds, most of last year was taken up with this in 1:35; [/img] [/img] Then there was Revell's Sea King in 1:72 with Airfix decals & an Italeri Wessex in 1:72 with a whole mish mash of decals from here & there. [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] I'm chuffed with the Wessex, the kit took some finding & the decals were old & frail, I have the 1:48 version that will be this year's challenge. Hope the pictures appear! Anybody tell me why just the links appeared and not the photos themselves? I thought I had followed the instructions elsewhere on here to the letter, but just the above happened.
phildagreek Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 After an earlier battle with Photobucket, here's some of my builds from last year, the first 6 months were taken up with my OH58D with other little jobs, the second half was dedicated to Tamiya's PBR, obviously in the Maritime section. Thank you. Tamiya's lovely little 1:48 Spitfire; Italeri 1:72 Wessex 3: Revell Sea King with Airfix decals, Italeri Wessex 5 with a mish mash of decals, some quite old. The 771 Squadron Wessex is my favourite, it took a while to find the kit, to hunt down decals that would work. I have the Italeri 1:48 that will be my main project to start the year. There's a couple of boats in the Maritime section. Hope you like. Thanks. 1
AndyC Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Very nice Phil - great little Helo's - that OH-58 is a cracker
CliffB Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 A nice set Phil - both the Wessexs are particularly good. Cheers Cliff
Mike DeTorrice Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Really fantastic models here ! Each is beautifully done and displays great. You know, I think if you just take the web address of your photo ( http://i257.photobuc...zps7ec02e5d.jpg ) and then paste it in the box that comes up when you push the little "photograph" icon above the posting area, your images should come right up in the body of the post. Here's one of your fine helicopters : Mike
