Feel free to post up your scifi deliveries when you get them. il start, here is my latest taobao delivery. metal parts and decal for my utopia cast gerbera tetra... a huge 2 sheet decal for a 1/60 sinanju, got it for the same price as 1/100 sheet, under 3 bucks! just bought it for the big logos. also got this sinanju 1/100 silver sheet, just wanted to for those silver logos, quality is rather crap but not that bothered, it was worth a punt. rotory file set to counter sink metal screws and photoetch. 2 sets of screws. and 2 sets of photoetch to customize vents. a metal parts dress up kit for MKIII RE 1/100 4 sets of photoetch. 3 hologram sticker sheets. and tamiya decal scissors. side3 sinanju upgraded armor resin conversion kit. you seeing a theme here? lol also the sinanju metal thrusters dress up kit. this is why i love taobao, you can buy parts, here are the 1/100 red astray katanas i bought, and yes the a genuine bandai, not nasty bootleg. also got rg zero wing, wing parts. finally also got these kotobukiya swords from a friend delivered as well. -
Hi! During my unemployment I kinda lost most of my modeling 'Mojo' but a new job has rekindled it and I set about finishing my first scratchsbuilt spaceship and so without further ado I present to you the - as of yet still unfinished - Mars Transporter: The starting point: The Base Paintjob: More paint and start of weathering: The Noseart (and I MEAN noseart) Now weathered: Start of the weathering: and from the other end (one could say:"The END is near") That's all for now - next update will be when it's finished! It was a hard choice deciding what to build for this one as I wanted something nice and simple....for a change. This was just such a cool model I knew I had to build it as soon as I found it, just wish it was 1/48th, but at least it is resin! This model was originally meant suppose to be the Caprica Air Force fighter jet but due to changes in the show, it was only ever seen as a virtual world fighter! This is a nice simple model so hopefully I can get it out of the way fairly quickly, it will be a straight from the box build. The resin moulding is very nice so it shouldn’t take a lot of work to clean up. I can’t wait to start this one, it should be lots of fun. HI Everyone, Following the deletion of the Starship Enterprise STGB thread, I am opening up this new thread with a difference. Rather than just being a Starship Enterprise or Star Trek group build, I am opening this group build as a Full SciFi group build. You can build anything within the realm of SciFi - Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, absolutely anything. as long as its SciFi. Please post your interest in this thread. I am new to Britmodeller and I am hoping to get constructive criticism on the kits I have built and painted so far. I need to work out how to post the pictures on here but I have been doing this for about a year and a half and I enjoy it very much. I lost my son in an accident almost two years ago and I fell into this hobby as a means of distraction, little did I know how much it would take hold of me. So,please be honest and constructive. I am hoping to improve my skills and maybe one day enter competitions. Thank you
