Good day, Upon completion of the Tamiya Ki-61 Hien / Tony, I decided to try and add one more before year`s end. I figured a simple kit with few colors would fit the bill. I selected the Hasegawa Ki-44 Shoki in 72nd scale. Here are the highlights for my final submission for 2023…………… 1. Colors used : A. Airframe, propeller, landing gear bays - Alclad Aluminum, Tamiya JN Green XF-11, JN gray XF-14, Model Master Earth Red, AK Imperial Blue, Mission Models Japanese Gray / Zero #MMP110, Gunze Yellow B. Misc colors - Tamiya Titanium silver, Mission Models Tire Black, Tamiya Brown, Tamiya Gun Metal, Mission Models Black, Tamiya Flat Black 2. Pastels : Brwon, mid brown, mid gray, black 3. Washes : Airframe - Vallejo Brown, Tamiya black, brown, Vallejo Light Rust 4. Uschi Bobbin thread antenna What drew me to this kit was it`s simplicity. It only required 33 separate parts. The cockpit consisted of an instrument panel, seat, and floor so I included the supplied pilot. The windscreen comes in one single piece. A second windscreen is provided for a different version of the Shoki. I used the kit supplied decals for this one. The surface detail is nice in recessed panel lines. I recommend this as a good starter kit for it`s simplicity and good fit between parts. I would like to wish everyone who visits not only my posting here, the website in general to a very happy and most prosperous new year of 2024. Thank you in advance, Mike

Hi Guys, Here are pictures of my finisched Kawa Ki-45. It was a straight forward build, just OOB. The interiour is painted with vallejoAir, and the outside of the plane was painted with AK inetractive. This last paint needed some getting used too. I don't think i wil use it again, unlessi need to paint another Japanese WW2 plane. Oke so far for the paint, here are the pictures. I hope you all like it. Greetzzzz, André

Having an interest in the AAC, I have started my first ever build (as a more dedicated hobbyist) on the attack helicopter that is currently being replaced by the Echo model.
