Hello guys long time no see, therefore I wish you Merry Christmas and a happy new modelling year. Without any further ado I present you my last model I just finished. It's the well known Nissan GTR R35 from Tamiya, a kit I bought years ago when I was a rookie, hoping that one day I'll be able to build it at a decent level of detailing. In my mind, that day has come, so here it is . Obvious, it's a flawless kit, no fitment issues whatsoever, I build it straight from the box, no add-on parts (although a detail up PE parts could have been useful). The colour is tamiya TS-92 metallic orange which I wanted to be as vibrant and "deep" as it could be, so I made couple of tests and the winning one was white primer, red and metallic orange afterwards. The rims have a nice story - I was undecided on the colour, I didn't wanted them black, gold, silver so I opted for smoked gold (smoked clear over ts-21 gold) - then polished every spoke with q-tips, hehe. I covered the roof, rear wing, side skirts, front&back bumper lip, inferior side mirrors, door handles and hood aerators in carbon pattern decal for a more sporty look and a bit contrast. the under chassis rear shield is covered in carbon decal as well. The rear bumper lip took me an entire evening due to shape and complexity - but it came out quite decent, better than I was expecting. Somehow I managed to lose the front fender turn signals, so I made new ones out of transparent parts sprue, keeping the fender's shape - at the end I polished them to give them a glossy look. This is my inspiration car. ok, enought talking, here's the result: ** I apologize for the pics quality, that's the best my phone can do. Also, for the dust flakes - can't get rid of them whatever I do.

Having finished the Lamborghini late last year, and nearly finished the Mercedes, I decided to embark on a one-man multi-build. I have in my stash the following: The idea is to build them alongside each other as a one man 'group' build. I think that the Japanese 'supercars' are pretty amazing beasts. Given that they were derived from humble origins in the case of these cars. I'm not sure about the new GTR. A powerful brute, but I think it's lost its way a bit. These three are handsome as well as awe-inspiring. The bottom one of these has already been started, and the body and floor-pan primed with Zero paints grey primer. The engine, suspension and transmission have also been completed. Hopefully I can get started very soon. More pictures soon. I'll get started on this project just as soon as the Merc is done... Cheers, Alan.

Here's the CLK GTR completed. One of the best cars ever, in my opinion. The kit is hard but rewarding in the long run.

Finished this one a month ago and got some pictures done. Its the Tamiya Kure GTR kit with aftermarket decals. If anyone played the original Gran Turismo it was a racecar on there! Quite pleased with this one, let me know what you think. Kit manufacturer: Tamiya Scale: 1/24 Type: Kure GTR Extras used: seatbelts and Tabu design decals Paints and colours used: Zero paints white and MIPA clear lacquer

Well I'm starting my build this week. I'm not sure which car to do, chassic 19R or 27R. These are my choices. What do you think? EDIT: I think the Papaya Orange is a cracker colour EDIT: I think the Papaya Orange is nice but I'm now thinking of building the Gloss black in the Pre Season livery that comes with the kit How about a nice hill climb at Goodwood festival of speed to get in the mood

These were built about 4 years ago and the Calsonic was my first ever car build. All are Tamiya 1:24.

This is my first post and a recently completed Tamiya Nissan Pennzoil GT-R. I know it's a little rough around the edges and do want to put some panel lines in soon for emphasis. IMG_20140510_125629_zpsu0hcwtb1.jpg.html][/url]
