Hi Mark You could do 100% run ups in the HAS but only with the other engine at idol or you would jump the chocks, also use to go into reheat a few times in the HAS but if we done that the others would go outside or into the cabin. As for rattling you organs around you definitely felt it down the tubes doing a max reheat run and being under the engine checking for leaks after an engine change, were supposed to be kidney plates going around to strap on but I never seen any of them. Was better being in the jet doing those runs especially when you get a surge in max reheat!

Hi Everyone I am building a mig 21 and have a color callout for Mr Color C44 Tan, C118 Light Blue and C136 Green. I am looking at painting this in MRP or the AK Real Color Air series, was just wondering if anyone had done this and knew what colors they were in their ranges as struggling to find matches.

We received i think it was two of these when we ( 111 F SQN ) were on Op Resinate South just before it turned to Op Telic as we increased our aircraft numbers because of the increase in ops. But it was only flown as the F3 with the air to air load out.

Hello everyone, looking at doing a few Flankers in the Russian multi blue camo scheme. Just wondering what paints people used as the kits I have mention Mr Colour numbers but was thinking of using Tamyia x, xf and maybe Hataka Orange line. Hello, I am using acrylic paints on my models ( Tamyia, Revell, Vallejo ) and I am looking for varnishes that I can apply to give me satin and flat finishes. I am then going to apply washes so do I use the same varnish after the washing. Thanks

Yeah have had a look through and still clueless on what to get, guess just depends on the price and what's on offer at the moment as will probably only end up building a few models a year due to work.

Have looked through the previous posts but still struggling to find an airbrush. Is it best to get one that can do most things or 2 that one can do fine details then the other for large spraying of aircraft. Also if using many colours is it easier to use siphon feed air brush or is there a better selection of gravity feed ones.
