I must second the motion that the Hobbycraft kit
along with the Flightpath detail set is the cat's pajamas.
If you've got the money, the Fisher resin Sea Fury
in 1/32 can not be bettered by anything availble.
Just another modelers opinion.

Hello all,
To get right to the point, when did the
British military aircraft start using
'Interior Gray Green' for the cockpits?
Were existing types painted over what ever
color was existant? Aluminum I would think.
Specifically, what color were the cockpits for
my Inpact Bulldog, Flycatcher, and Gladiator?
Thanks for the help,
Mike
PS, please excuse my American spelling.
Hello,
I am preparing to start my Aeroclub 1/48 BAC Lightning F.6
vacuform/multi-media kit. I have discovered that I do
not have the usual Aeroclub 'exploded view' parts breakdown
page. All my other Aeroclub kits have such a sheet but
I don't know if such a page is supposed to be included with
this kit.
I have been able to identify most of the parts but there
are some of the metal bits I just can't
make out what they are or where they go.
I am hoping I could respectfully ask if
somebody would look into their own copy of this kit
and let me know if such a page is supposed to be there,
and if so, perhaps email me at guitar dot guitar at earthlink dot net
and make arrangements to email to me a scan of same.
Also, the clear vac canopy has been crushed. Does anybody
have or know of a replacement available anywhere? Does
anybody know if the Aeroclub canopy as released for the
Airfix kit will fit on the Aeroclub kit?
I have purchased allmost all of the Aeroclub kits
and actually built a few. I really like them a lot.
Thank you,

Hell from sunny Washington State, USA.
I am preparing some decals for the Palmer Aero
Cord Tyres. Does anybody have any information
as to what sizes were used on the various
RFC aeroplanes?
Thanks,

Hello All,
Concerning 1/48 SE-5/5a kits
First was Aurora which was leased to Entex and then subsequently re-worked
by Monogram then transfered to Revell.
Merit was a knock-off of the original Aurora kit. Those
molds went to Artiplast and then on to Smer.
Lindberg was what it was.
Roden did two SE-5a kits. The first had too
many or too few (I don't remember which) ribs in
the wing. Roden then re-made the wing
in the correct manner and re-release the kits.
Anybody who had one of the original Roden
kits could email Olga at Roden and she would
send you a set of the corrected wings.
As has been stated here, the Roden is by
far and away the best of the lot. If you buy
a previously owned kit, if such things matter
to you, beware of which wing set is in the box.
I don't know if Roden is still replacing the
bogus wings.
There you have it in a nutshell.

PS - I carnt typ wurth a durn.
Carl,
Please allow me to add my appreciation for two really very nice builds.
Here's hoping you have many more projects like these for your and our pleasure.
Thank you,
Mike
If you want to print your own decals, listen up, eh?
Lately I promised to send some Corel files of the Austrian Sworl Camo pattern to somebody. Somehow I can not find hide nor hair of the details of this promise.
If you are the person, or anybody else here wants a copy of these files, contact me by email and put Sworl in the subject line.
[email protected]
I have both four and three color versions of the pattern so you can take your choice as you see fit. You can also use your choice of colors.
Here are some low resolution bmp copies not to any scale.
mIKE feeling generous.
You just have to right click on the picture and it will expand.
Then left click on the expanded picture and choose
'save this picture'. You will then copy
the picture to your hard disk.
If that doesn't work send me a message and I will email them to you.

Liam,
Here are some images of the Blue Max Avro 504K. They are from
the website Blue Max had before they went belly up.
