After a break of 6 months, finaly the courage to do some modelling again. Corrected the bowsection: Added some cannons and fitted the poopdeck: Painted the aft but needs loads of work, before I'm sattisfied with it. Placed some more parts on the decks Painted the panels of the gun ports (I see in the first picture that I forgot one)😮 I also filled some holes in the masts and bowsprit. Hopefully soon some more updates and more often.

Here the progress I made last weekend.: And her the differences between the model and the original. When I place the part the way I did on the picture, no 1 is correct, but no. 2+3 are not. The model: The original: So next time I will remove these en replace them. Then I will allign no 2+3 and modify 1. No 1 will end to high in comparison to the deck, so I wil cut the part that is exceeding the length it has to be. To be continued

Did some corrections to the striping. I wasn't satisfied with them. I also mad some progress with the build itself, but time was to short last night, to make pictures of it.

After a long time of no progress, due to circumstances, I finaly made some progress again. I only forgot to make pictures of the progress.😮 But the hull is glued together. Here pictures of how it is now: Hopefully soon more progress.

A little bit more colour on the upper gundeck. Those beams with no: 103 don't belong on the Victory (anymore) Before mod including some nasty looking bulges for the lanterns. After mod: I also painted the upper gundeck cannons.

After a modelling break of about six years, I recently picked up the hobby. I decided to build the Victory after reading the book: Batavia written by Peter Fitzsimons. So I started with collecting some reference pictures and discovered that after a scientific research the colours on the ship were incorrect. Sadly these colours aren't readily available, so I will have to try and mix them myself. The colours as they are familiar: The new colours as Lord Nelsom himself should recognize them: Then the model itself: LOADS OF FLASH. But hey, the molds are from 1959. So I will call it German nostalgia. After cleaning te parts sltill a lot of attention is required to make the parts fit in a nice way. Here my work thusfar: All sprues primered Hull, quarterdeck and uppper gundeck Hull inside: Cannon with drilled barrel: Dryfit: Soon more.....

So here is my first update: Did some paintwork on her. More asap.

NIce work on this one. I started one last month, but waiting in line for finishing the group builds I'm working on. Mosquito GB first and after that this GB. Good luck finishing these two.
