  1. Thank you for you replies Gentlemen, I'll do some more research and see what I can come up with. Jack.
  2. Hello, I got the 1/72 Revell Gannet the other day and would like do to her XA430 as in the photo but I do have three questions if anyone can help. 1). Are the stripes on the tail fins and spinner black and white ? 2). Is the lettering for "COURIER" and the Kangaroo in red ? 3). Are the stripes on the tail hook, red and white or black and white ? Many thanks for looking. Jack
  3. Hope so Dan. The Postie delivered the seats this morning and I've found the Hunter transfers but I can't find the Jaguar set at the moment, I think I've put them in a box for safe keeping somewhere.
  4. Hi Dan I think so, I've got a 1/48 Airfix Canberra which I can pinch the AS.30 missiles off, just ordered the ejector seat's and I already have some 1/48 transfer sheets for the Hunter and Jaguar so hopfully that cover's it. Jack
  5. Hi Dave I know the MB Mk.9 was used on the Jaguar as well so the Mk.9 it is. Hi Wooksta Thank you for the link to that site I shall have a look. Jack
  6. Hi I've got the kits sorted that I'll be using for my 1/48 Hawker P.1173 project, as you can see its a MPM Aero L-39C, a F-20 Tigershark and a F-100 Super Sabre both by Monogram. I'm thinking about doing the P.1173 either 4 Sqn or 6 Sqn, I haven't quite decided yet, I like 4 Sqn's markings but I'm wondering if I should do it 6 Sqn as it was to be the aircraft that ended up being the Jaguar, I'm also wondering which ejector seats to use, Buccaneer or Jaguar, what do you think ?. This will be my second What if build and I'll get started as my other build gets a little further on. Jack
  7. Hi Wooksta Thanks for your suggestions, I've had a look at the Fairey Delta 2 and see what you mean, one thing's I had noticed about the P.1083 was that with the new intake under the rear fuselage there's no airbrake so I may just use your idea and add the Delta style airbrake as well. Got a bit more done today, finished separating the four wings halfs ready for the new Ho-229 wing sections and I glued the intake parts together, after filling in the ejector pin makes I realised that you can't see them anyway once its all glued together, Doh!
  8. Got started on cutting the wings yeaterday, more to follow.
  9. Hi I've got the things together for my 1/48 Hawker P.1083 conversion, I'm using the Academy F.6 kit, wings from a Dragon Horton Ho-229 and the Xtradecal X48-033 sheet for the 74 Squadron markings. I should get started on the wings today, hopfully.
  10. I quite fancy having a go at a Hawker P.1173 and a Hawker P.1083 Supersonic Hunter. Jack
  11. I'd quite fancy building a What if or two so I'd like to join in as well. Jack
  12. Oh well, looks like I'll have to build my own then. Thanks for your reply Roger. Jack
  13. Hi All Does anyone make after market 44 gallon auxiliary drop tanks for the 1/24th Hawker Hurricane ? Thanks for reading Jack
  14. Hi Keith I thought it was just the Wasp that didn't have the strengthener. Jack Great build BTW
