richellis Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 (edited) Airbus A320 Wizzair of Hungary 1/144 decals from BOA agency WizzAir of hungary is a low cost airline that started in 2003. They fly throughout europe in their fleet of 30 Airbus A320 aircraft. This set from BOA is in 1/144 scale and is designed to fit the revell A320 kit. All of WizzAirs A320s have the IAE V-2500 engines so you will need to be sure you source a kit with these engines included. This set includes all the decals that you need, both for the livery and the stencils. the sheet includes the registrations for 15 differant aircraft. You will need to match the lighter puple as you need to paint the fuselage front and the engine pods to match the tail decals. The instruction sheet is double sided and in full colour. It is very clear and easy to follow. Conclusion This is a nice set of a colourful aircraft, the decals are crisp, and has very fine detail. I would recomend these decals! review sample from Edited January 17, 2011 by richellis

keefr22 Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 the lil pic is a link....duhhhhokai Yeh, fooled me too!! Some nice looking stuff there, but I've read their decals aren't the easiest to use? Never tried any myself though..... K
BAC Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I deal with this airline all the time at work. The crews are generally really nice and friendly. When I built the Revell kit I used a set of decals but not BOA's. The sheet I got came with a couple of other airlines but without digging them out I can't remember which ones. The hardest thing I found was getting the purple colour on the front fuselage and engines right. In the end I used Xtracolor 'Helvetic Magenta' and kept adding tiny amounts of Xtracolour 'KLM Blue' until it became a close match to the purple on the tail decal.
richellis Posted May 27, 2010 Author Posted May 27, 2010 OK, as far as I can see the quality is very good. Not sure how good they will be untill I use them, and I will. Rich, someone on here was having trouble applying them as apparently when they touch the models surface they stick like limpets so he couldn't get them to slide into place. I had exactly that problem with a set of Reji rally car decals (I think they might be printed by the same people?) & found that if you added a small drop of washing up liquid to the decal water it really helped. I suggested he try that, & apparently it was also succesful with the Boa ones. The Pic Linky,Im just plain clever! And just a little devious....!!! Keef
