Anybody have a good pic of the Spitfire Mk.IX firewall?

Hi all,

I'll be plumbing & wiring my 1/32 Tamiya Mk.IX Spit's engine and firewall, and although I have lots of good shots of the engine plumbing, I don't have anything that clearly shows the firewall layout.

Does anybody have a few good pictures they could share?

Although I imagine the Griffon installation is pretty different, it can't hurt!

Wow, those are golden. I just finished a frenzy of right clicking and saving. Although I should have mentioned in my earlier post that I'm doing the 1/32 Tamiya Mk.IX and that I'm looking for the two stage installation. Nonetheless your pics will be very useful. Thanks!

A lot will be similar, though the MK19 has a gearbox that bolts on to the top left side as looking at the firewall, omitted in these pics

Thanks, lasermonkey, TonyT, Tedfellows and (MaMaMa)Max Headroom! In addition to the firewall, there are some other goodies in those shots that will be really useful (like the leather gaskets on the frames for the engine panels).

It is an anti chaff webbing material not leather .......... was told today most of the firewalls should of been painted in Silver primer.

Careful though Tony, that one listed is a Griffon one, gearbox on the firewall and engine bearers under the belly on floor if I am not mistaken

Good point. If the firewall is "kinked" then it's a Griffon powered a/c, no? There are also a few Mk.V shots in there too.
