Derek Bradshaw
Hello, Just wanted to post some pictures of some parts for a 1/32 cockpit detail set master patterns that I am working on for Mastercasters. It will eventually be a resin set and is designed for the Academy/Hobbycraft kit. That's all for now, but I shall post mor pictures as time and development allow. Derek Bradshaw
Thanks Obi-Jiff Small update. After studying more pictures, I decided the I was not satisfied with my cockpit side panel inlays - the diagonal planking still looked a little too wide to me (plus I got them going in the wrong direction on the port side), so I have decided to make them again from 0.15mm sheet, scribing in the new planking. The rear bulkhead is complete apart from the curved fairing support structure - that will be added later. The front bulkhead is just taking shape detail-wise. Close up of the rear bulkhead. Obi-Jiff Kenobi
Excellent work. Must pick up a Nieuport sometime, maybe at Hornchurch, then I can get this set to go in it. Obi-Jiff
Derek Bradshaw
Walrus/Bob/Obi, Thank you for the very kind comments guys. I wish Mastercasters much success with this product (I am sure Hannants will stock, but as usual, get it quick whilst it is still there!).
