Always really admire the quality of your work, this one being no exception.

I know you (like me) are interested in history -

There have been some recent programmes in the UK that would have really interested you. A series of three documentaries (forcused on Nelson's navy, the crusades and samuria) called 'Back from the Dead' where bones from various digs have been excavated and examined by experts revealing the lives led and how the person died. Really bought home the horrors of old warfare - a great series. I am interested in swords and take part in sport fencing, but I would not want to sword fight for real - the injuries sustained were pretty horrific - especially those to the head.
