Doug Rogers
Most of my way though the build actually, just thought I'd get some pics on the board. Started off fixing up a prop shaft and sleeve so that it spins; Here's the white metal and resin bits for the seat assembly; And with the seat armour fitted, which I knocked up from some spare resin; Fitted the tailwheel doors closed as it's going to finished in flight; Prop spins up fine; And here's where she is this afternoon, got a bit of touching up to do with the paint; Should finish her off this week hopefully, hope you like her so far. Roland Pulfrew
Looking really nice so far. Looking forward to seeing the finished model; I think the the Spit looks very nice in the grey/blue colour scheme.
Doug Rogers
Thanks Roland. I agree, this scheme really shows off the Spitfires' beautiful lines.

sunshine coast
Think I'll stop now on this one. Got to the point where everything I did started to go wrong Know that feeling !!! Excellent build and good to see a less often portrayed colour scheme ....it really does show off the thoroughbred lines of the Spitfire beautifully ... Regards Trevor ... Doug Rogers
Thanks Trevor. I did cock up the paint at one point, but thought I was too far in to change it, wonder who'll spot it first. Hey, Pez! How you doing? Thanks mate, should look nice on the shelf. Doug Rogers
Thanks Ian, she goes together well. Particularly like the wing root area, you've got some nice angles in there.
