New single from The Cure, out today.  The first new material in sixteen years.   New album released on 1 November. I'm very very excited about this.

The 3:30 intro was far too long for me, but it got better after Robert Smith finally turned up for the singin'.  I didn't used to the like the Cure back in the day, but they grew on me as I mellowed out, and I like a few of theirs now.

Are their intros always that long?  I just watched Photographs of You, and it was over 2 minutes.  I get bored waiting for the words.

Not always.  But often.    Underneath The Stars has another long intro.
