Mikey-1980 Posted March 28 Share Posted March 28 Evening all, Another commission build...this time the 2009 MPC 1/25 scale 1969 Dodge Charger - the "General Lee" from the Dukes of Hazard A tough build in places and I really dont like the polystyrene used by MPC, but hey ho, worked out nicely in the end. Plenty of fitment issues, including the roll cage that simply didnt fit. then there was the mounting of the shell to the chassis......nightmare! but got there in the end. Paint was done with Tamiya rattle cans, and a little bit of airbrushing. Along with some light weathering using Tamiya weathering pastels. Pete in Lincs Posted March 28 Share Posted March 28 Yeehah! I found a picture somewhere on line that shows around 39 pristine General Lee's parked up ready for stunts on the TV show! I built one decades ago, Perhaps the 1980 issue that I found quite crude. I now have a metal ERTL version on display.
