1/48 Stuka recommendation

Pah...!  Sorry gents!  This was the link I was thinking of...not that 1/72 version!  This 48th scale doesn't have the snake markings after all, but would make a great kit for the AM decals...

I’m building Airfix’s B-1 at the moment. Only the knowledgeable would be able to tell that it’s not a B-2/R-2 if they looked closely (and you used the alternate parts) I think. As has been said, Airfix are releasing a B-2, whether that will have all the missing bits as described above we’ll have to wait and see.

 

In terms if fit and detail, my example has been a perfect fit and a joy to build. Good detail in the pit too. I’ve not tackled the canopy for masking yet...

 

You get weighted and and unloaded wheels, the choice to show weighted landing gear struts if Modelling on the ground or extended if you want it flying, options for capped, removed or complete “Jericho trumpet”, the aforementioned different cowling options and exhausts, drop tanks etc.

 

I think it’s the best B in scale.
