  2. Hello fellow modelers, I prefer 1/48 modern military aviation, but two years ago I built these M1A2 Abrams 1/35 No. 35269 from Tamiya and placed them in diorama. Every now and then I like the variety of building 1/35 modern tanks and armored vehicles, in combination with figures, this gives the model in a Dio even more expression. What I can remember was painting the US Army ACU of the military figures was not an easy thing to do, I stamped the paint with a brush. I used two figures kits, U.S. Tank Crew Modern from MiniArt 1/35 No. 37005, US Check Point in Iraq from Master Box Ltd. 1/35 No. MB359 and CONCRETE & Plastic BARRIER SET from Meng 1/35 No. SPS-012. I hope you can appreciate my first Dio! Cheers, Jos
  3. My hobbybossy Lws , i wanted to build something a bit different ,And to have some fun , was going to do a water dio with them fishing and drinking but liked the idea of the harbour . ps hand drilled out the vent holes in rear only 120 per side !
  4. Hi guys, I not want to keep you back from this nice dio depicting an engine change no a Mosquito over at Modellversium.de. The level of detail is just great and the mud is easily one of most realistic I have ever seen modeled. I hope you enjoy: http://www.modellversium.de/galerie/9-flugzeuge-ww2/11978-diorama-motorwechsel-bei-dh-mosquito-1-48-tamiya.html This is - unfortunately - not my model and I don't know the builder (Mike Garamond) either - just thought you guys might like it. Cheers, Michael
  5. Hi there thought i would try something different , possibly went a bit heavy on the weathering .But my thinking is these birds are out in all sorts of seas/weather hope yous like and most importantly it was fun to do!
  6. Hi all this is my very first attempt at scenic modelling and my first ever diorama. It is the first result from my review of the new Precision Ice and Snow product that Steve at Precision Ice and Snow asked if I would do a review for him. I happily took him up on the offer It offered a great excuse to to a bit of much needed modelling as I have not had chance to do any the last few months. So enough waffle Here Is the result. Its wonderful stuff and highly recommended. For the build which is still ongoing go here : http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234945975-precision-ice-and-snow-review-of-the-new-amazing-snow-effect/page-3#entry1416643 Buy Precision Ice and Snow at : http://precisioniceandsnow.com/Precisioniceandsnow/Home.html Cheers Rob Well that wraps up the first Dio pretty much now on with the others. Cheers Rob
