Hello everyone! After being away from the site for more or less a month, I decided to upload the photos of my 3d printed Skyhawk here. I didn't do so earlier because I was too lazy to open Imgur and copy and paste the image links to BM. Hope you like the plane!

Hi Guys, I'm new to this Forum so wanted to get some suggestions. Ive recently built; 1/32 Revell Harrier GR.1 1/72 Revell Spitfire Mk.Vb 1/72 Airfix Hawk T1 1.72 Airfix Lightning F.2a 1/72 Airfix Hurricane Mk.1 1/72 Revell Typhoon Bearing in mind I'm relatively new to the hobby (and on a student budget) do you have any recommendations on what to build ? I only really want to build RAF operated aircraft. Thanks in advance, Matt

Hello! This is the 1/72 Heller kit and i tried to give this oldie a go. I rescribbed it and chopped the flaps to give it a little rupture around the wing shape area, and also cutted the canopy and done the interior. It was painted with vallejo acrilycs. The Magister with it's distinctive tail always looked odd to me but after this one I will try one in 48 for sure. This machine was based upon on a scheme of the Berlin Gatow Magister and the whole point was to get the worn out look and the hi vis orange. Your comments are welcome!

Time for my first build here on Brit modeller, I've gone for a Su-17M2 by mistercraft (formerly master craft). he kit is supplied on five sprues of decent flash free plastic. Included in the kit are drop tanks, rockets, bombs and a reconnaissance pod (although the M2 rarely carried them). To helm the kits overall look I've ordered myself some resin pilots as the kit doesn't have one :(. I'll also be borrowing some bombs etc from the spares box.

I am about to begin a 1/72nd scale Yak-18 on skis from AModel. So far the kit looks typical of older AModel kits with heavy, soft sprue, and a fair amount of flash. A pre-fitting lest shows the distinctive 5-cyclinder cowling will not fit flush without some filling and plastic. Other than that it looks to be straightforward build of an interesting bird used primary for training purposes. I'll be building it OOB except for the repair work I'll need to do. Anyone build one of these? Any tips if you have?
