In the meantime I am finishing another 2 WRC delta, I started thinking about my next project. I write a premise: my good friend model maker Riccardo tried to take me on the "right" way of the hystoric racing. The idea would have been a LeMans (the 4H race in the 24) # 62 driven by Lennep with an NA engine and Martini livery ..... not to be confused with the Turbo # 46 always used by Lennep, always at LeMans, always Martini but at 24H race. Beautiful cars, but that don't make “fall in love” like an mp4/4 or a Delta. If I continue to model my historical subjects it will be the F1, the W
Well I decided to dig this out to use as a stress reliever build to go alongside my Days of Thunder build and well, just look what happened in 3hrs Ok so it was a stalled build from last year lol. Better explanation to come in a WIP I'm going to start about a Capri with a Turbo Eye's peeled everyone lol. TTFN Ashley
Ok first one off the blocks.... This was a very late decision for me and not what was originally planned. But Ii just loved the look of it and it was quite different...my kind of build! The base model will be a 1/48 Tamiya P-51D like the picture of the box below.........hmm the actual model hasn’t arrived yet! The conversion is 1/48 Heritage Models Cavalier Turbo Mustang III kit which looks to be a nice conversion, accuracy...will have to look at some drawings! Just have to chop the nose and under radiator off glue in the resiny bits and thats it.....simple! White metally bits S
Well, I always wanted to build aircrafts of Falklands subject, and after a 1/48 Sea Harrier from Tamiya, I decided to build a T-34C Mentor, used by Argentina during the war. Unfortunately, the two available kits of Mentor in this scale are not good, so I made a lot of scratch work to improve the kit. The complete build pictures and comments can be found here, at IPMS-Rio de Janeiro website: http://www.aprj.com.....php?f=8&t=3036 Some pics during the battle: The finnished model: I hope you appreciate !
