  2. This is my Academy 1/35 King Tiger Last Production. Built OOB and painted using the Mig Ammo paint set Late German Camouflages (Camouflage colours used in 1944 and 1945) Weathered using a mixture of Flory's grime wash , mig Ammo washes and Vellejo washes and pigments. I used one figure from the box and added two more from Zvezda , painted with Vallejo model paints. Thanks for looking Martin
  3. Thanks David I think I will go with the IDF SINAY GREY '82 but might lightern it a little . I suspect under a good weathering it will be a good match. Martin
  4. I have the Academy M60 Blazer in my next to do pile but can't decide on the correct colour for a tank that took part in the 1982 Lebanon war .I have just ordered the Mig Ammo IDF paint set which has IDF SINAY GREY '82 but looks a little dark , would some tanks still be in the IDF SAND GREY '73 at this time. Thanks Martin

  8. Thanks Simon dont't know why I painted it that colour (late night modeling after to much ale I think ) but I'd noticed after I took pictures and have already changed the light to green. Martin
  9. As I am unable to convince my wife that the dining table would make a great display base for a Airfix 1/24 Typhoon I had to be content with the Italeri reboxing of the Hasegawa Typhoon. Painted in the markings of an aircraft flown by Flt Lt L.E.J.M.Geerts of 609 Squadron Thorney Island June 1944. Eduard PE set 48275 has been used to add some additional detail but the decals are OOB. Painted with Tamiya , Vallejo , Revell Aqua acrylic's and Model Master metarlizer paints and weatherd with Flory models Grime wash and Vallejo washes and pigments. Thanks for looking. Martin

I'm looking for any info about the upgunned and uparmoured panzers used by the 26 Panzer Division in Italy 1943-1945. I've only managed to find one picture and a little info about this panzer IV. Any help would be great, Thanks Martin

  15. Just a little white glue I think I used Micro Kristal Kiear but have used normal pva glue in the past. Martin
  16. This is my second aircraft kit from Zvezda and can happily say another great kit which I really enjoyed building. This time I have built a Messerschmitt Bf 109F-4 to add to my growing collection of 109's. I have decided not to use the inbox decals but had some Sky Models decals from a previous 109 build so have used them. Painted in the markings of Hauptmann Heinz Bar Russia 1942. Thanks for looking. Martin
  17. This is my first Zvezda aircraft that I have built and for the price I am very impressed. Painted in the markings of White 60 , 3rd IAk Mat 1943. As for the colours that I have used on this aircraft I have used Vallejo model air for the main but as they have no soviet WW2 colours in their range I have guessed and have had to mix my own colours or use close matches from looking at some pictures on the web. I have another zvezda kit in the pile (Bf109 F) which I am really looking forward to building . Thanks for looking Martin
  18. This my Eduard 1/48 FW 190D-11 with the addition of some Eduard seatbelts Painted in the markings of an aircraft used by Verbandsfuhrerschule des G.d.j.under the the designation <58 at Bad Worishofen and was later repainted to become Red 4 from the famous Sachsenberg Schwarm. Main RLM colours used Xtracrylix ,metal work with Model Master Metalizers with a Flory models Grime whash with a oil whash added before a flat coat to finish. Thanks for looking. Martin
  19. Another Armour build that I have enjoyed this time I have chosen to build a 17 pdr .M-10 Achilles. As with some of my other armour builds I thought a base was needed with some figures. Thanks for looking Martin
  20. My latest build the Dragon 1/35 OT-34/76 Mod 1943 Flamethrower tank. This was my first attempt at using the hairspray technique and was painted using a mixture of Tamiya ,Revell and vallejo acrylic paints and weather with pastels , oils and Florys Models wash and I've attempted to create some mud with a mixture of paint and household filler. I might make a simple Dio adding some figures in the near future. Thanks for looking. Martin
  21. Anybody had any experience with one of these . Any info before I buy would be great. Martin
  22. This is something quite new to me and is my second diorama. I finished the Panther which is the Revell boxing of the ICM Panther D a couple of weeks ago (painted mainly with Tamiya Acrylics) and have been working on the base and figures since. The figures are from Zvezda and have been painted using Vallejo Model Color and Panzer Aces paints. The base is a old picture frame with some Das Modelling clay for the ground surface and some painted Fur fabric for the tuffs of long grass. Thanks for looking Martin
  23. My first Armour build I decided to try something quite cheep and easy to build to try out some weathering techniques which are new to me. I choose the Tamiya Panzer KAMPFWAGEN II which I picked up for a fair price and ended up with something I'm quite happy with. After finishing I then decided it needed something to sit on , two days later. More Armour ? Yes I think so Thanks for looking Martin
