  1. Built one a couple of years ago very simular to the ICM BF 109 's , if I remember correctly the decals are not the best. Martin
  2. This is my Academy 1/35 King Tiger Last Production. Built OOB and painted using the Mig Ammo paint set Late German Camouflages (Camouflage colours used in 1944 and 1945) Weathered using a mixture of Flory's grime wash , mig Ammo washes and Vellejo washes and pigments. I used one figure from the box and added two more from Zvezda , painted with Vallejo model paints. Thanks for looking Martin
  3. Thanks David I think I will go with the IDF SINAY GREY '82 but might lightern it a little . I suspect under a good weathering it will be a good match. Martin
  4. I have the Academy M60 Blazer in my next to do pile but can't decide on the correct colour for a tank that took part in the 1982 Lebanon war .I have just ordered the Mig Ammo IDF paint set which has IDF SINAY GREY '82 but looks a little dark , would some tanks still be in the IDF SAND GREY '73 at this time. Thanks Martin
  5. Another great kit from Tamiya this is the Bristol Beaufighter VIF in the markings of V8748 , 96 Squadron Honily, Warwickshire, March 1943. Thanks for looking. Martin
  6. No major problems a little filler in one or two places but all in all ok. Martin
  7. My second Hawker Hurricane from Italeri building the Mk.I previously , this time I have built the Mk.IIC in the markings of an aircraft flown by Pilot Officer A.U.Houle 213 squadron RAF , Eduk , Egypt 1942. Painted with a mixture of Tamiya , Xtracrylix , Vallejo and Revell acrylic paints and Model Master metalizers . Weatherd using a mixture of Vallejo and Flory washes and pigments from Vallejo. Thanks for looking, Martin
  8. Thanks Simon dont't know why I painted it that colour (late night modeling after to much ale I think ) but I'd noticed after I took pictures and have already changed the light to green. Martin
  9. As I am unable to convince my wife that the dining table would make a great display base for a Airfix 1/24 Typhoon I had to be content with the Italeri reboxing of the Hasegawa Typhoon. Painted in the markings of an aircraft flown by Flt Lt L.E.J.M.Geerts of 609 Squadron Thorney Island June 1944. Eduard PE set 48275 has been used to add some additional detail but the decals are OOB. Painted with Tamiya , Vallejo , Revell Aqua acrylic's and Model Master metarlizer paints and weatherd with Flory models Grime wash and Vallejo washes and pigments. Thanks for looking. Martin
