Hi jack, revell 9 is mentioned as 7021 though. My Ral 7021 colour card matches with Mike´s scc14 swatch. 79 is probably revell´s choice for "panzergrau", but it is not ral 7021. Below you see flattened portion of RAL 7002 and RAL 7021 next to Light Mud and SCC14

Scc2 is a colour much chosen by modellers and rightfully so, unlike restorations. Last years the real scale world made a quick catch up though.

Hi jack, I based this on Mike´s swatches abd his revell reference. Most revell paints are straight ral colours. Cheers.

Hi Mike, How would you distribute US OD / mickey mouse and SCC15 / mickey mouse?

Hi guys. It took some time now, but I found my way here. Not so much into modelling myself these days, but I'm smitten on colours... (Just) Perhaps some already know this, but one of my babies is Drab-it-yourself on Facebook. I always try to link the info within the modelling community with real life restoration. One of my "things" is to formulate mixes with RAL codes to achieve a certain paint. This has the benefit of communicating in universal colour codes world wide. This has led to some great results. Thanks in advance to Mike Starmer, who not only inspired with his work but also made a huge effort with "assists". So be warned. I'm a colour guy. And always eager to learn.

Go for US olive drab for M4's, unless it needs to be different. Usually, this mostly applies to British camo and repaint in SCC15.
