Both groups are almost ready. I've brought the uniform back to a worn old white and added buttons. Having thought I was finished I then noticed that I'd forgotten to add the straps on the backpacks. So it's paint the straps and paint the bases, then get them based. Then comes the most difficult bit, deciding what to paint next

Good luck Ratch

These are the two regiments with colours on the tunics and pompoms. Still no buttons yet so the ID is incomplete. They're far to clean and white so they first need a sepia wash to take the blue whiteness away. See if you can spot the ones that have been done. Not too difficult is it Now the task is to clean them up a little with a diluted light grey in parts.

The set is now ready to have the regimental colours applied. I'm going for the two regiments, Prinz Anton and Prinz Maximillian.
-
There's only 40 of them so this group is moving along fairly well.
-
More of them

They're an addition to my Napoleonic collection. I don't wargame, I just research and paint. Oh! I also seem to buy far more figures than I'll ever get to lay a brush on.

Moebius Models 1:6 "Original TV Series" Batman
FredG replied to BrianI's topic in Figure Work In Progress
Adam West's and Burt Ward's acting was what it needed to be, very heavily tongue in cheek. The show was much nearer to the comic book than the modern films.- 30 replies

Just about there I suppose I'd better start on the basies
-
A few more hours and I think they're looking better. Still a few more hours before I can think of starting with the washes.
-
Let's see them all
-
Thanks Jim, I'm having fun with this set. More colour on the riders.
-
I'd say they know better
-
The riders now have the base colours. The tunics are royal blue and the 'loons dark red. The tungsten effect of the lighting is throwing the colours off in the photos. the lacings at the front of the tunics are still to be attended to.

Ooops, a typo there Ratch. The 23rd Regiment of Foot, the Royal Welch Fusiliers
-
Well that worked. This lot have acquired swords and one's even picked up a trumpet(bugle) from somewhere.
-
Looking better primed. For losing their weapons, the guilty have been sentenced to impalement.
-
I've started on the riders and this pose seems to be a little forgetful. Four of them have lost their swords already.
-
I think the camels are abouit done. At least I'm happy with them. They've had various washes to finish them off so every one is a slightly different colour. Now to get some riders to steer them.

More hours, more paint
-
They're starting to get colourful. Still more red to be applied
