From the beginning I thought I'd do some tests in vacuum form. Got some progress, but I have to change the technique. The best way is to make a female mold for the fuselage. I will try this weekend. For now I did a test with a standard template. The result was reasonable, but with the female mold think it will become more accurate and more detailed. Here are some pictures: Cheers, Marcos.

Hi people. Since the time I was working in the F-Rsin 1:144 DH Heron model I was attempted to build an DH Dove from this Heron kit. For that i did a copy of the fuselage and wing. When trying to shorten the Heron fuselage to the Dove and from the discussions here in the forum I noticed that it was almost impossible or at least a very hard-working. So I decided to do a new fuselage from scratch and try to shorten the wing. Here are the results until now. I need to work more in the fuselage shape and in the wing. The propellers are from a Embraer EMB 110 Bandeirante resin kit. Cheers, Marcos.

I was thinking on make the windows in black. For that I need to scan and draw over your decal. It is ok for you if I do that? Here is the VARIG drawing: And here some update photos. Thanks my friends. I'm decided to take the risk and work from the Heron kit in 1:144 scale. The height difference between the Heron and Dove fuselages is very small in this scale and I think that it can be worked from the Heron fuse. The vertical stabilizer has a difference in the shape and the horizontal too. Kev67, I did not knew about the welsh kit. I'm thinking in purchase one for my collection. Thanks for the information. Hi Guys, Here is a new project with the Dragon Rapid from Aeroclub. I purchased two kits. One for my box collection and the other to be built in the early VARIG colors. The decals are home made and will be laser printed. Cheers, Marcos.
