  1. Thats excellent mate, apart from the suspension is there anything else with the kit worth mentioning?
  2. Not decided on a colour scheme yet, probably the all grey because thats whats on display at Manchester aviation viewing park. Ill be going to see it before I commit though. Ill pick up the magazine as soon as I can, thanks.
  3. Mine was about £18 in modelzone, most people have them discounted at the moment. Thanks for all the comments, I got the white metal part from ebay, its very good quality. It went on with poly cement ok.
  4. Thanks for the reccomendation regarding a2zee my haul came today and im very impressed, the brass windscreen wipers are tiny and still highly detailed, its amazing!! never used an etch before so its all new to me. 5. Cheers guys, ive ordered a few updated parts including a metal forward undercrage and some bits from a2zee models. Never used any upgrades before so looking forward to it. I think ive already messed it up though, shouldnt this be flush? http://i25.tinypic.com/3442yyu.jpg
  6. I bought some Tamiya decal solution but it doesnt come with any instructions, do I apply the decal as usual then add a layer of it over the decal?
  7. This is my first time building a kit like this, so do you have any tips? I notice Hannants stock Eduard etched detail kits, are these worth the money?
  8. Thanks for this thread, ive got the Revell in my stash so think ill order a set.
  9. Doh!! silly me.
  10. Am I using this wrong or is it pants? Its like a very thick paste so I thin it and whether I thin it or not it dries, very very chalky. Paint does stick to it well but the finish is never great.
  11. huge talent and thanks for the updates, ive learnt loads.
  12. Looking forward to this, it should be a good build.
  13. Thats awesome, how do you get all the detail in, such as the rivets?
  14. Thanks I also heard someone did a 1/6 or 1/8 wheel assembly but its been a long time discontinued. If I find details ill post it here.
  15. Excellent photos mate, love the B17 and Blackbird.
