zed Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I am looking for any references that any one has on the Mig-19 version SM-30 used for trials as a Zero-length launch (ZEL) version with PRD-22 booster rocket? I have the Russian X-Planes book with a photo and a rough drawing, but does anyone know of any other sources, most specifically betters drawings of the PRD-22 and what was the trailer that was used? Thanks Graham

Includes photo of SM-30 on launching trailer: http://books.google.ca/books?id=bONxF9nNT5...ket&f=false Check this page; I didn't see the SM-30 (CM-30 in Cyrillic Russian), but there is a drawing of the aircraft on its trailer: http://www.wunderwaffe.narod.ru/Magazine/A.../Draw/index.htm Somewhat clearer version of photo: http://www.wunderwaffe.narod.ru/Magazine/A...Pictures/17.jpg Sometimes a search in Cyrillic turns up something; I didn't find much, but try ПРД-22 (Russian for PRD-22), or "МиГ-19 ПРД-22", with or without quotation marks. Good luck! John
