Deacon Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) Been watching Britmodeller GB's and thought I aught to give one a go myself. This is one of Eduards Weekend Edition range and will be finished in the colours of the Adjutant Maxime Lenoir of Escadrille N23, 1916. Cheers Deacon Edited May 15, 2010 by Deacon
Deacon Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 For a while now I have thought that I wanted to theme my 'modelling' but not make it too narrow. As a consequence I have decided that 99% of my builds will be of British aircraft or aircraft flown by RAF squadrons. So the Nieuport has been shelved and will be replaced by a British aircraft. Cheers Deacon
Antoine Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Nice to see another nieuport. This is one of Eduards Weekend Edition range and will be finished in the colours of the Adjutant Maxime Lenoir of Escadrille N23, 1916. By the way, in French you spell it adjudant, with a d, it's an NCO rank, and not exactly the same meaning as in English.

Antoine Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 No problem. There are so many ways to build a nieuport. It's up to you.
Robert Stuart Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Sorry to see this is being shelved If you can see your way to including the RFC, then 1, 11, and 60 squadrons used the Nieuport 16 (link: http://www.theaerodrome.com/aircraft/france/nieuport_16.php) You could have a look at this one http://www.eduard.cz/products/pdf/n11/1103_13.pdf - Albert Ball (Baal)
Deacon Posted May 18, 2010 Author Posted May 18, 2010 Thanks Robert, I do appreciate the information, and the link. Deacon
