Stewie Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 This cockpit is really nice. I decided to glue the coming to the instrument panel. I filled in the gaps , they cleaned up really nice. That way i did not have to do it and ruin the detail later. Tonight i should have the airframe glued together. Enjoy Cheers Brian

James V Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Nice work, I have just about fininshed mine for Scale Modelling Now. It needs a bit of work with all the sink marks but it really does look nice when its completed (I finished mine 11sqn DXI). Looking forward with watching this come together. James
Stewie Posted February 10, 2010 Author Posted February 10, 2010 (edited) Shes coming along really nice. This kit has been really fun to build. The the intake was probably the worst part of the kit so far. Took a couple of hours to clean the inside of the intake. I did not put the cover on the back end of the intake .It was a pain ,so i left it off. I will wait for two mikes resin to do FOD covers. The bottom wing went on perfect with out a fight. The top wing dry fitted on perfect. There is only couple of areas that might require a little putty work. I am really happy with revell for this kit. I can't wait for them to release a two seater. I still need to get some GBU's for mine. Enjoy Cheers Brian Edited February 10, 2010 by Stewie
Stewie Posted February 15, 2010 Author Posted February 15, 2010 (edited) Moving along pretty good. Flaps went on good. The main flaps they did not give you a whole lot to glue on. The area behind the cockpit called for some tweaking. Enjoy Cheers Brian Edited February 15, 2010 by Stewie
