  1. For me the mantra look ok im no real expert on them but comparing them to ref photos they look ok

  4. Thanks guys the kit is the revell 1/32 hawk rebox as a tiger, decals are xtradecal and paints are tamiya freehand sprayed not sure the make of the resin seats but i cast them myself the gun is my own cast too as the kit one is crap

  9. The Skipjack class submarine was the first US Navy nuclear attack submarine with a hydro-dynamically optimized tear-drop shape. The hull was a single pressure hull with circular cross-section made of high strength HY-80 steel. A visual feature was that the forward diving planes were fin-mounted for the first time. The six torpedo tubes in the bow could fire a total of 24 torpedoes. The newly developedS5W nuclear reactor enabled her to remain submerged for a long period and her range was only limited by food stores. The shipyard test run confirmed sensational performance with a top speed of over 30 knots when dived. USS SHARK was the seventh ok the skipjack Submarines launched in 1961 and decomissioned in 1990. sorry about the photos but as she is so big she is very difficult to photograph the only real issue is the seam along the hull joins
  10. cheers all yep i realised about the canopy after i sealed it all up and de-masked her, but i cant get it out now

  13. well shes been a long time coming but shes done at last its actually been a fun project and ive learnt alot, so im happy, storage and display is an issue but never mind, so i may get the UHU built at some point
