Removing Microset residue marks from decals

Hi, all... having used Microset very successfully to get the decals to lay down on my Camaro, there are a couple of paces where there are slight patches visible. I don't think it's really "residue"... more like the spots left sometimes when your car dries after rain. Anyway, I've tried washing with warm water with a bit of washing up liquid, and they are still there. Anyone have any suggestions for something a bit more aggressive (not too strong!), but that won't damage the decals or the shiny Tamiya rattle can paint...?

Warm water normally removes the residue, at least for me.  Are you sure that it isn't the paint/varnish that has ben affected?  Can happen & will be hard to fix.
