cmatthewbacon
Hi, all... having used Microset very successfully to get the decals to lay down on my Camaro, there are a couple of paces where there are slight patches visible. I don't think it's really "residue"... more like the spots left sometimes when your car dries after rain. Anyway, I've tried washing with warm water with a bit of washing up liquid, and they are still there. Anyone have any suggestions for something a bit more aggressive (not too strong!), but that won't damage the decals or the shiny Tamiya rattle can paint...? best, M. Graham T
Warm water normally removes the residue, at least for me. Are you sure that it isn't the paint/varnish that has ben affected? Can happen & will be hard to fix.
