Sgt.Squarehead
Found this a while back while putting the xmas decorations away: Last time I saw this was somewhere between 1985-1990, it's suffered a bit in the intervening years.....As there is already going to be quite a bit of remedial Milliput work taking place on my bench, I decided to mask it up and see if I can't actually make something out of it after all these years.

Sgt.Squarehead
Yup.....I was a big fan back then. Don't expect too much, you will be sadly dissappointed.....Its 20+ years old, made out of bits of kits, some of them recycled, my philosophy back then was very much 'chuck it together and see what sticks'. Im going to see if I can salvage something from the ruins.....It's missing its prop and the down-turn thingies on the wings (MiG-15 tail-planes IIRC). It looks like I'd just started doing some Milliput work on it when I left it, so I shall be picking up where I left off pretty much! 1
Pete in Lincs
Loved those books. I may have to dig them out of the attic next time I'm up there! Just for fun I once worked out that an AMTRAK wagon train at 1/72nd would be about six feet long! (At least I think that's the size I arrived at)
Sgt.Squarehead
Maybe use the innards from a tea-urn and have a functioning point defence system?
richj
Looks good so far The Jet Ranger makes a good basis for the main body. I always wanted to try make one, esp the Mk2 as the open cockpit Mk1 would be a lot harder to pull off. Keep the ball rolling on this one
