Alpha Delta 210
Hi I picked out some of the access panels and some of the larger panels with Humbrol 27001 and applied the decals. The myriad of tiny stencils were no problem, but the national markings were very thick. I don't know why Fujimi provide eight Polish markings, as there only seems to be one applied to each side of the tail. Anyway, here are the pictures of my progress. The next step will involve attaching the fiddly bits and applying another coat of Klear prior to a Raw Umber wash.
crookedmouth
That's nice & neat - not easy to get a silver/metallic finish to look as good as that in that small scale.
Alpha Delta 210
Hi I applied two coats of a Raw Umber wash, streaking the second one with a cotton bud in the direction of the airflow. However, I managed to drop the model in the process, snapping off the nose gear, one of the main gear legs (which took me 30 minutes to find!) and one of the main gear doors. I couldn't get the canopy to fit well. I have decided not to do any more on this one! I have posted a couple more pictures in the "gallery" thread.
