TheKinksFan
I'm building a 1/48 Tiger Moth from Airfix, and my chosen scheme is G-ADVZ from Xtradecal X48206. There are three different propellers in the kit. What are the differences in them, and which one of them would most likely be the right one?
Robin-42
Every airframe/engine combination will have multiple propellers approved for use. Airfix have provided three different ones to match the markings provided in the various boxings. The Tiger Moth I used to fly had three different props in the time I flew it, starting with an original WWII prop and finishing with a very different looking, but much better performing modern prop. From a modelling standpoint, best to find a photo of the airframe you are doing and pick the closest match. All of the information is available online. A search of Type Certificate Tiger Moth will start you off down the rabbit hole of what prop could be on it and identifying the ones in the box.
